# How do I add a new sub-industry?

In the left menu bar, click on '**Industries**' under the heading '**Firm**'.

There are two ways in which to create a new sub-industry.

**Option 1:**

Click the down arrow next to the parent industry and click '**Add** **sub industry**.' A pop-up will appear, where you can insert the subindustry's information

- Name\*
- Parent industry

Once you have inserted all sub-industry information, click the blue '**Create**' button at the bottom right of the pop-up.

**Option 2:**

Click on '**Create industry**' in the top right corner of the page.

Then, enter the name of the industry.

Select the parent industry from the dropdown menu if this industry is a sub-industry of another industry.

Click on the '**Create industry**' at the bottom right of the page to create a new industry.
