# How to change the status of work highlight?

In the left menu bar, click on the heading '**Docs**' then select '**Matters**'. To edit the status of an existing matter, click the matter's name from the list of matters.

The status is always visible at the top left corner of the matter. To change the status from '**Draft**' to '**Approved**', select **Approve work highlight** at the bottom right corner of the matter.

You will then see a popup. Confirm your choice by selecting '**Approve**'.

A confirmation will appear for a few seconds at the right bottom of the page. The status of the matter should be visible as '**Approved**'.
